Mike will discuss the classic methods for mineral identification; he will discuss mobile device apps and websites to help in the identification, as well as introducing the new AI apps and software that will be very useful to all rockhounds. If time permits, for interested parties he will also discuss advanced methods for mineral ID used at Universities and Laboratories such as X-ray Diffraction.
